Why I wanted to be a teacher at Little Academy of Humble: I love working with children and I feel like I’m a real people’s person. So this way I get to do the two things I love. Talk to adults and be around little people all day.

 

Ms. Blumreiter

Position: Assistant Director
Hometown: Military brat so I don’t really have a hometown but I was born in Gwinn, Michigan
Favorite Children’s Quote: “How can you read this? There’s no pictures!” “Well, some people use their imagination.”
Education:  Bachelors in English, Masters in Education, and working on another Masters in Business Management
Years of Experience: 9 years total in education
Why I wanted to be a teacher at Little Academy: When I came in for an interview the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The faculty made me feel like a part of Little Academy family.

 

Ms. McGuire

Education: I received my diploma in 1979. I went to North Harris County College for two years, 1979-1981. I also attended Houston Community College from 1981-1983
Years of Experience: Experience since I was 16 yrs old
Why I wanted to be a teacher at Little Academy of Humble: I love working and taking care of infants. It’s my passion to be able to give TLC.

Why I wanted to be a teacher at Little Academy of Humble: I believe that setting a good learning foundation for children should start from day one and is very important. Working in the infant room, I get to help them learn and develop the skills they need that will follow them not only through school but life. I love watching them reach each new milestone in my class.
